Appellate court overturned judge’s order to hold Syracuse man without bail, but the man is still in jail

Syracuse, N.Y. – After a dramatic mistrial spurred by allegations of jury tampering in 2023, a Syracuse man was taken back into custody and held without bail.
In September, an appellate court ruled that the trial judge’s decision to revoke the man’s bail was improper.
